Most Japanese politicians, bureaucrats, entrepreneurs, top executives, professors, teachers, and especially silver-age people (60+ years old Japanese men) still believe we are in the leading group in all areas, despite laps behind already after no growth in the last 30 years. Even japan facing more laps behind, but Prime minister, LDPs, Local governors and mayors have shown concern, but seriously never feel and treat as their own problems, but about the next generations. Love to pay negatives forwrard. Still those people leads and operates Japan policy, economy, technology, education, pension, actions against COVID-19 or Fukushima earthquakes (2011). They always make wrong decisions, make more future debt, provide terrible pension-refund plan for the future generation. 65+ years old senior men are called as "Run-Away Generations (Nige-Kiri Generations in Japanese)." They enjoyed economic growth in 1960s, led by their former generations. They failed to lead when they turned 30s-50s after economic bubble, and caused no economic growth in Japan last 30 years. They still manage all politics of Japan. They votes for old people's government. LDP creates pledges only for old people's wellness, and increase more debts against future generation, by sprinkling short-term budgets to win short-term support from voters. I met many retired people, who led companies or in the responsible positions at established corporations, and they told me "They do not care the future after they die. They believe no climate change because higher temperature on the earth millions years ago". They totally ignore how fast current climate change affects to live. As I mentioned in the previous blog posts, 50+% of world population will and must live near the coastal areas, but those are gone under the sea levels by 2100 or at latest 2300. They strongly told me they did not care. I understand that not all 65+ years old Japanese men do not care future generation and their interests lie in their satisfactory living with spending their lots of pensions for their hobbies. However, I seldom meet younger generation who never care climate change. Japan will surely sink, if we do not get back Japan onto younger generations' hands. Let's fight for the better world.
